8888 For remembering the massacre which the Burmese military government is responsible of. It happened 1988, Aug 8.
I hope we will not allow that to happen again.

Remember the red shirt day. Friday 28 September.

"In support of our incredibly brave friends in Burma: May all people around the world wear a red shirt on Friday, September 28. Please forward"

all the aid organizations I've encountered also advises that the tourism should stop. The whole thing is really sad.

It's a beautiful country and I wish I could go back there one day. But they need to be free first. There is also an election coming up, and with Aung San Suu Kyi banned from the party, it could become very turbulent.

Stupid stupid idea. The exile government also want the tourism stopped.
One might think that it will benefit the population. But everything goes into the hands of the junta. Everything.
